About Pharmacy First

Introduced in 1996 by a group of fourteen regional drug wholesalers, Pharmacy First was designed to qualify the independent community pharmacy for a variety of retail programs that had previously only been offered to the large chain pharmacies. Consequently, revenue and funds generated would be returned to these participating community pharmacies, on a performance-basis, in an effort to strengthen pharmacy’s narrowing profit margins.

Today, Pharmacy First offers an ever growing menu of services and programs for any community pharmacy to choose from. In an era where independent community pharmacy desperately needs to leverage its strength, Pharmacy First is here to be counted on!  Besides, it’s Pharmacy First, of course!
